Jersey City bus advocate and Citibike rider. I’m just a soldier in the fight for better streets and better transit in New Jersey 🏳️‍🌈 #fuckcars American League Champions Toronto Bluejays fan for life. Obsessions: Italian and France.

It’s great to see a standing room only on a 9-Montgomery bus after 8:30. We advocated for better bus service on the 9 last year but the best we could get was service extended later into the evening. Nonetheless, the demand is there and that’s great to see. Hope we can get better service.

This was still in my head so I had to draw it out to see what it looked like as one system, but here is the Other South Jersey bus network the SJTA runs It actually doesn't have the worst frequencies, I think only the Vineland-Atlantic City route had just one round trip

Fatal crash on RT-202 in Somerset County. “Witnesses told investigators Surapanani drover "erratically" and in the wrong directions before hitting the driver's side of an Acura SUV. The driver of the Acura, a female from Bridgewater, died at the scene.” nj1015.com/route-202-ra...

Gov @mikiesherrill.bsky.social @njsenatedemocrats.bsky.social @njassemblydems.bsky.social what are you guys doing to keep us safe from dangerous drivers? What are you doing about drivers who evade PA and Turnpike tolls? Really doesn’t seem fair that people pay their fair share & others don’t have to

Streetsblog analyzed a month of Port Authority lawsuits against toll evaders and found multiple drivers who endanger city residents.

RIP Louisa Gag, a transit planner who dedicated her career to making Boston’s streets safer for cyclists & pedestrians. She was killed while biking to work on July 9, 2026. Street safety improvements shouldn’t be delayed, watered down, or treated as a political inconvenience. Safe streets now!!

Crazy thing is, NJT previously did serve it. The 43 (Newark-Exchange Place via Harrison/JSQ) and 43/87 (Newark-Gates Avenue via Harrison/JSQ) were casualties of the 2012 Christie Cuts. Ridership per trip was poor, but that's to be expected on service timed solely for warehouse/factory shift changes.

I live 2 blocks from the 85. My mother in law lives on the 85. I take my kid to the mall where the 85 goes. I never take the 85 bc it's so infrequent and it's always overcrowded because it's so infrequent.

Thank you for checking out! If I spot next week during rush hour how crowded it gets I’ll snap a pic. I shifted over to the EZ Ride shuttle to Secaucus Junction to take the train into Hoboken because I can’t guarantee being able to get onto a 85 during rush hour.

Ex post facto sales tax, yet another way @SenPresScutari is about to k*ll people, by making e-bikes harder to own and operate than the exponentially more dangerous cars they’ve been replacing. Call him now and tell him to support a law in line with other states: (732) 827-7480

“I’ll be damned if I’m paying the State of New Jersey again, I paid it six years ago.” NJ e-bike riders livid over double sales taxing from MVC, which is now offering refunds. More on that, other issues coming up at MVC and more unanswered questions.

Don't like it? Build more housing to attract more families. People want it both ways: don't build housing or else my taxes will rise bcs kids, but don't cut my shrinking schools district's funding!
