it’s shift change at the bitch factory but don’t worry i’m pulling a double
I'm sure some folks have seen the news, but air quality in Oregon and Washington is extremely bad right now. Even with windows closed, you can smell the wildfire smoke pretty strongly because the fires are already as close as Timberline Lodge. Red sun again.
Reminding myself once again to stay focused on glowing up and getting back in touch with myself instead of letting my mind and feelings get dragged back into the things and people that have crushed my self-esteem and self-worth
Gentlemen, wipe and wash your ass. This should not be Earth shattering information for you.
Oh my god the dietician who is telling everyone in the White House to only eat steak and sauerkraut doesn't wipe his ass.
A few outliers aside, ranch and ketchup are mostly crap, and I will die on this hill
On top of the fires in Spokane, there's a large fire happening near Mt Hood now too. Sky is already turning yellow and the air real smokey, bad times in the PNW.
I can't say enough how good it is for mental health following a lot of stress and heartache to sink into DIY electronics, synths, and books as way to re-focus and be constructive I'm done with closer relationships for awhile, romantic or otherwise, give me a soldering iron and paint brushes
I'm so fucking here for everything Castle Rat is doing right now. Metal needs to be a little fun and over the top again!
I'm at that stage of my life where I bought what amounts to an adult sippy cup for use at my desk because my ADHD ass has nearly knocked full glasses of water over way too many times
The 37-person town of Antelope, Oregon has a rich, strange history. I wrote this essay for Portland Monthly about being drawn to its darkness: www.pdxmonthly.com/travel-and-o...

Decades after a cult takeover, the tiny town looks to the stars.

6 years after 2020, I still marvel at how often people who present themselves as the most principled are among the shittiest in private. They'll preach but not practice, encourage understanding, patience, agency, and vulnerability, while punishing and demanding acquiescence from those closest.
Off the charts exhausted today thanks to one whiny ass cat who got me up at 3am 😭
I so deeply miss honesty and authenticity, where words and actions align, and I don't feel like I have to always be on guard and afraid to trust that people are being genuine with me Someone recently said they don't get over certain things, but they move on, and that rings so true lately.
Over 60,000 people have already been forced to evac Spokane. SpokAnimal is taking in pets from evacuees if anyone would like to donate.

Truly the best thing about having a cat is waking up with mysterious scratches, and you just know that fucker was straight up walking on you in your sleep and slipped a foot because he's an uncoordinated dork
One of my former teachers is Jack Boas, a Holocaust survivor who was born in Westerbork transit camp. He's spoken out against Israel's actions. Principled people speak out against atrocity. Being a Jewish state doesn't change that that's what's going on or mean Israel is immune from consequences.
People need to get it through their heads that whatever they *might* have “actually” meant a couple of years ago, when leftists say “AIPAC” or “Israel” NOW they often mean (((Jewish))) just as when MAGA says “DEI” they mean “Black.” If you can’t get that I don’t know what the else to say.
Checked in with a work pal a minute ago who will be sandwiched right between the two fires in Spokane if they converge. You can already see thick smoke from their front yard, shit's wild.
Serious wildland-urban interface (WUI) fire situation in Spokane, WA amid "extremely critical/Particularly Dangerous Situation" fire weather conditions. Two separate fires, #OldTrailsFire & #FairViewFire, are actively burning near/in neighborhoods; mass evacs ongoing. #WAwx
I have countless loved ones are on the northside of Spokane. Not only is it NOT normal for the west to burn, this is actually fucking insane.
Holy crap. Level 3 (GO NOW!) zone now includes urban Spokane, south of Francis to Wellesley. Level 2 (GET SET!) zone now extends east of Division. Not to be alarmist, but at this rate, it’s not inconceivable that the Old Trails Fire merges with the Fairview Fire.
Surprising, but welcome change: Tons more nerdy girls are putting out nerd content, and among those I follow, not only are not all of the comments about their tits, I haven't seen any. If you're a nerd, you know how mindbending this is. Maybe one day even Linux users will catch up?
Work wiped my ass out this week, thanks to developers constantly pushing busted ass code. This weekend absolutely demands asanas, kettlebells, and proper food, or I’m going to be a lazy ass creature all weekend 😵💫
