Norwegian uses "troll" for things that aren't actual trolls, e.g.: • korstroll/krosstroll 'starfish' (lit. cross troll) • rumpetroll 'tadpole' (lit. butt troll) • skrukketroll 'woodlouse' (lit. crease/crack troll) • trappetroll 'slinky' (lit. stair troll) #linguistics

i teach R and Python because students won’t need expensive institutional licenses to use them in the future. There’s no way in hell i’m getting them hooked on expensive AI agent tools that haven’t even been priced for what they cost yet
