Hard borders mean ppl die. I heard @jamesstout.bsky.social say that once on a podcast and wow has it stuck with me. I don't want people to die, and immigrants are not a threat to me or my family or community.

most murders are committed by someone the victim knows - a partner, neighbor etc. but in cases where there is no relationship between murderer & victim? the killer is a cop about a third of the time. if you are killed by a stranger, there is a 1 in 3 chance that stranger is a cop.
