Good and important messaging, but it is striking how Muslim candidates are repeatedly defamed as “terrorists” and then have to turn around and issue such statements when there is no similar expectation that Jewish candidates need to affirm the safety of their non-Jewish constituents.

controlling measles outbreaks is extremely resource-intensive for health departments. the public health system is under a lot of stress in a lot of different places right now. that drives up costs too
