In the 1960's, when the USA led the world w/ blue-chip companies in every field, the average CEO-to-worker pay ratio for major corps was 20-to-1. Now, CEO's are paid about 300 times as much as the typical worker. Those CEO's don't work any harder nor are they more deserving.

I got off of Facebook entirely and as Instagram gets more and more frenetic and full of sales pitches, and there are hardly any of the still photos I used to like, I've cut way back there. Spending more time here because most of the posts I see are things I can read. www.pcmag.com/news/death-o...

Buttigieg: Nowhere in the Constitution does it say that there have to be nine Supreme Court justices. That one doesn't even take a constitutional amendment. It just takes a readiness to set up a court that fits this country.

Tennessee State Rep. Justin Jones is one of my personal heroes. I recently had the chance to speak to him about the racist redistricting plot being enacted in his state and others in the South. Republicans are trying to bring us back to the Jim Crow era that so many fought (and died) to end.

73% of mothers with kids under 18 are in the workforce. More than flowers or brunch, working moms need: -Paid family leave -Equal pay -Universal childcare -Universal healthcare (But get your mom flowers, too)

100%. Until the Supreme Court is reformed and the corrupt members removed, nothing else matters because the Supreme Court and its corrupt members will just stand in the way of everything else. Any Democrat who can't get behind that simple fact should leave politics now.

I'll restate my oft-stated position that democratic self-government in the United States is not possible unless this Court and its manifest corruption are thoroughly reformed. civic democracy or this corrupt court. can only have one.

Voter ID? How about Donor ID? Nobody can spend a dime influencing our politics, be it elections or governing unless they are human beings & American citizens.

Here it is, my annual reminder: don't spray spring dandelions with roundup. One flower can be visited by 100+ bees in a day, and your chemicals will kill all of them. 🌻

On this day in 1908, Jane Bolin was born. Bolin, America’s first black woman judge, said this about women’s rights in 1958: “Those gains we have made were never graciously and generously granted. We have to fight every inch of the way — in the face of sometimes insufferable humiliations.” #WeTheMen
