"Opinions are like demo tapes ... I don't want to hear yours." - Stephen Colbert "Thanks for your concern." - Ronnie Shakes Currently residing in Nazi America against my will.

Seeing all the "goodhearted souls" in my state celebrating the eventual deaths of fellow citizens because they're not sick enough in their eyes to qualify for Medicaid on 1/1 is a fine example of how deeply disturbed and bloodthirsty all these bastards are.

On one hand, it's a good thing CBS finally told the truth. On the other hand, CBS can still go fuck themselves. Bullshit artist Bari Weiss and the Ellison family, even with all their money, can't buy back credibility. And smart Americans will never forgive them for what they did to Stephen Colbert.

UPDATE: CBS News reverses course, airs story on 9/11 families supporting Mamdani

Last week, CBS News New York falsely reported that “thousands of 9/11 victims’ families are asking New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani not to attend this year’s solemn remembrance ceremony.” The articl...

ICYMI last night, DHS is currently being fined every day for contempt of court until it coughs up the cell phone records of officers involved in immigration stops in L.A. last year that looked like racial profiling rather than reasonable cause. short thread -->

Fed. judge holds DHS in civil contempt of court for refusing "intentionally and not in good faith" to provide plaintiffs with phone images they intend to use to prove DHS was racially profiling people arrested in Los Angeles without reasonable suspicion. Order from July 28, unsealed today.

B. Defendants’ Noncompliance Is Intentional And Not In Good Faith. Having found that Defendants are in violation of the January 16 Forensic Imaging Order, the burden now shifts to Defendants to show that they were unable to comply. Affordable Media, 179 F.3d at 1239 (9th Cir. 1999). They fail to make that showing. Upon review of the parties’ submissions and counsel’s representations at the hearing, it does not appear that Defendants’ noncompliance is due to an inability to comply. Instead, the clear and convincing evidence shows that Defendants have acted intentionally and not in good faith.

honestly can't stress enough, as a former family law attorney, how depressingly common Max Miller's behavior and words are, right down to the petty fixation on custody procedure and rules when faced with allegations of shocking violence.

Rep. Max Miller: "When I was reported for child abuse of my daughter for a broken collarbone, my daughter was in my ex-wife's care 9 out of the last 11 days and she took her to the emergency room, which is a contempt violation from our shared parenting plan."

Susan Collins announcing she'll vote against a controversial nominee is basically the moment it becomes clear that nominee will be confirmed. It means Thune has enough votes to confirm, and thus, Collins gets a pass to look independent.

OH Sen. Jon Husted, who is in a tough election battle with former Sen. Sherrod Brown, was asked on Newsmax if he thinks Miller should resign. He said no. Husted: “Let’s focus on letting them sort through this on a family level.” I'll just leave this here: www.sherrodbrown.com
