Our memories are long. All power to the people.

“Trump doesn’t have any policies, he has whims,” Ford said. “It scares the s–t out of me. The ignorance, the hubris, the lies, the perfidy. He knows better, but he’s an instrument of the status quo and he’s making money, hand

Note that in two articles today, WaPo describes a "sale" of bombs to Israel. This is extremely misleading. The reported $2.bn package is 100% funded by US taxpayers via the Foreign Military Financing grants for Israel to buy US weapons.

he's a pedophile in the epstein files and all he has to say is 5,000 dollars and every idiot just falls for it

The most underrated act of kindness is letting people be. Let them mispronounce a word, talk too much about a show they love, or get excited about something they don’t understand. Everyone has something that lights them up. Let them shine, even if it’s not your thing. @ 3amThoughts

Opinion: This is evidence that the well being of the people of the United States, law and order, and national security doesn't mean anything to Republican members of Congress. They exist to serve themselves at great peril to our country and people. www.france24.com/en/americas/...

US Senate narrowly confirms Trump loyalist Todd Blanche as attorney general

When it comes to Trump’s money laundering, this is just the tip of the iceberg. The Trump Soho laundered Russian mob money. Trump Panama laundered drug cartel money. Trump Azerbaijan laundered Iranian Revolutionary Guard money. Florida real estate was used to launder Russian oligarch money.

🚨 NEWS: In a new court filing, Capital One says Donald Trump’s accounts were closed in 2021 after months of analysis by its anti-money laundering (AML) professionals, not because of politics, as Trump has long claimed. 1/

Trump is asked about the New York Post's fake reporting about 9/11 families allegedly not wanting Mamdani to go to memorial services. This is how Murdoch launders smears into the news cycle.

People need to step back and understand what they are seeing. After a few months of war, the USA is running out of munitions and options fighting a country with no air force, no navy and a damaged infrastructure. US decline is real and self-inflicted.

"The rightwing movement against empathy seeks to dismantle and discredit one of the essential tools for any society – our capacity to recognize and respond to suffering. We should see the campaign against empathy by Trump supporters for what it is: a flashing red light warning of fascist intent."

“Empathy is not a sin, a toxin, or an evolutionary dead end. It is a tool, and like all tools it can be a weapon. We are going to need it.”

Heads up: Taylor Farms lettuce is sold under these brand names: Marketside (sold at Walmart) Earthbound Farm (owned by Taylor Farms) Cross Valley Farms (owned by US Foods) Private labels for Target, Whole Foods (365), and Amazon Fresh. AVOID ALL OF THEM

Tracy said he was going to address the team on the end of the 15-game winning streak, but Willson Contreras and Sonny Gray “were already handling it” when he got into the clubhouse, and he was happy to leave the messaging to them.

I know we've all heard this before but I do actually feel like it's quite important to not normalise the President of the United States publicly announcing his intent to commit war crimes. This is not normal.

Valuable thread. Trump disaster w Iran is unique. Not (yet) nearly as many (US) casualties as GWB disaster w Iraq. But even less provocation or justification. By comparison, even Vietnam was"rational" step-by-step, tho leading to catastrophe. This time, pure impulse. No rational veneer at all.

Many point to Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan, a natural instinct and there are indeed many parallels. The US track record is appalling (as I've written abt all of them). One key difference w/ Vietnam/Afgh at least: other presidents (even Trump 1.0!) decided not to attack Iran (and Iraq's regime). 1/
