The same industry that went after consumers for everything they had, the industry that demanded $75 trillion from Limewire, is surprisingly chill with the AI industry stealing every book every written to train their algorithms...

🦑 Meet Planctoteuthis sp.! 🦑 According to #SamplingGap Co-chief sci Dr. Perez: “Images have finally enabled the description of this tail, but no one knows what it is used for. It looks like a siphonophore from a distance, and one hypothesis is that it could be used for siphonophore mimicry.”
Hello, @animalphotorefs.bsky.social lost their job midway through the trip that's supposed to pay for the trip and is now stranded so far away. If you could benefit from animal photos for art references, please consider supporting.
I just found out I’m losing my main source of income because AI search has nerfed the revenue of my main client. I am, also, 2000+ miles from home doing photography I expected to pay for with that income. If you can help, I’m hoping to raise $1000 to help cover trip costs & the drive back west.
I've been trying to warn people about this and other negative effects of using AI since this AI madness started, and no one believed me. So here an article about it, so you believe now?!
Who could have predicted this, aside from literally anyone with a functioning brain?

It's already difficult to get readers for your comic as indie artist, let alone to make money off it. So I think I'll stop worrying about if it's good enough or that I don't have a cover/ typography. I'm going to just start my comic in short comic strips format and see what comes up from there.
#kittyRemy waking up I've just found out my baby can climb up onto the bed now. He climbed onto the bed at 2 am to ask for milk. I gave him some, and then, with his little tummy full, he cuddled and fell asleep 🤭 #Remykitty

Nothing better to cure the pain of feeling you're obsolete as artist and person than scraping the roof of your mouth with Sabritones. Or at least to forget it for a while.
How I arrived on Bluesky Very optimistic And I still am, cos I've received a warm welcome.
How I arrived on Bluesky
I'm feeling lately that my life is useless. that I'm useless. I do my best taking care of the people who are near me. People I love and appreciate cos they've told me they love and care about me. Yet I feel like none of them appreciates any of what I do None of them loves me with the same intensity
Been thinking about #Disney #TreasurePlanet had a lot of awesome character designs. I might make fanart of some of them, but I can't decide who, can you help me decide by telling me your favorite character?
Hé folks, lookie how gorgeous Missy has become!! 🥹💖 Do you remember when I found her? She was blind, deaf and used to drag herself around like a snake. It's been difficult to make her surviving when she was newborn, so I wanted to share cos I'm even happier to see her now. #KittyMissy #Missycat
I'd like to share some beans to cheer up your day! 💖 #KittyMissy #Missycat

Late sad news The event was cancelled cos I didn't to get scientists to join in, neither local government's aid. I wrote a letter to Art & Culture department & I got as answer I was no scientist And people wouldn't be interested to hear an unknown illustrator talk about ecology/local wildlife.
Giving up some maintenance to my #terrarium cos I've been invited to give a lecture about ecological fertilizers and homemade terrariums making on September. I'm very happy that my knowledge on this field finally it's going to be useful for people!
