The New York City Council is considering a bill that would require the NYPD to grant direct access to bodycam footage to the CCRB, the city's police watchdog agency. The police can't be trusted to police themselves. We must keep fighting for police transparency and accountability.

By arresting a child with legal status at a routine check-in, ICE acted with brazen cruelty, broke U.S. law, and violated the Constitution. The Trump administration should expect to keep seeing us in court if they continue to punish people for following the rules.
