actually kinda heartbroken. screaming mad george's effect work is some of best in horror. one watch of "society" should be enough to convince anyone of that. i also wanna highlight the fact that if u know slipknot's look at all, you can attribute it to smg as well. a genuine master of his craft.

An amazing and honestly slept on artist. A real deal genius in a seemingly forgotten creative field. You could arguably say his effects were the main star in a lot of films he was involved in. My favorite movie Big Trouble in Little China wouldn’t have 2 of my fav scenes w/o him, these 2 freaks.

Asian action genres like tokusatsu, kaiju, martial arts are seen as "cheap" "low budget" genres (they are)! But even a multibillion company falters at "doing it themselves" because what enables these productions isn't a quantifiable resource you can put on an Excel spreadsheet, but "skill" & "craft"
