"NOW DIE AGAIN, LIZARDS!" Style and materials test I finished today. Couldn't think of what to draw, so I decided to do a page study of Ken Ishikawa's original "Getter Robo". 7x10" on bristol paper done with ink and alcohol markers.
Another page study! This time a page from Kouta Hirano's "Hellsing". 7x10" sumi ink and alcohol marker on bristol paper. Drawn with the Manga G Zebra Classic Pump Pen.
One more page study, this time from Kazuo Umezu's "Ultraman". 7x10" sumi ink, alcohol marker, and air brushed acrylic on bristol paper.
Actually finishing a kit instead of buying a new one! I got myself this DaisensoGoji for my birthday last year, and it was my first legitimate Billiken kit. Painting only took about 2 hours, didn't get any progress shots this time due to being in the "zone".
Completed a years long collection today! This is the (near) complete collection of the Bandai Tokusatsu Collection 1:350 model kits. I started with the Godzilla kits and never realized the Ultra kits were a part of the series.
Just finished the Pegila kit! This was a super fun paint job full of messy layers to create the illusion of intended details, something I've noticed recently with Tsuburaya kaiju. Pegila was air brushed with minimal dry brushing. Only wish the eyes glew more.
Finished my Kaiyodo 23cm Neronga vinyl kit! Yellow is the worst paint buy far, and I had several moments of anger, but I think he turned out great!
