This whole furore seems to ignore the fact that apart from a small handful of people everyone actually leaves prison at some point. I mean the difference between serving 40 and 50pc of a 2 year sentence is basically 73 DAYS.

My view is spend money on whatever makes you happy. I'm incredibly tight on eg buying new clothes but will happily spend daft amounts on gigs etc. But if clothes/watches/beauty treatments are your thang and you can afford it then great. Other people can't really judge "value" for someone else.
