A veteran of the adventurer's guild lent their tag-along one of their protective spaulders. Surely, there's nothing suspicious with that statue, right? Super detailed piece to push my effort and take lessons from! I've got several things to make concept art for now, (including the torches)! #art

Almost finished with a big wood project I am excited about.... 👀 🌕🐺
Found ancient incomprehensible knowledge in the back of a sunken temple last weekend. Pitched it to a dumpster for a 3-pointer the next day. Turned out to be gibberish. 2/10 Wasn't worth the 13 dwarves fed to the shoggoth. The bastard didn't even thank me for its meal.
Quiet rolling thunder echoes across the mountains like the rumbles of a sleeping dragon, stirring from slumber, before fading back to the quiet rhythmic breathing of rain married to summer breeze.
25 Minute Plant Study Not the individual plant. I'm more interested in how to paint the resemblance of a bunch of them, mostly to fill up space in a scene. Butttt that said, I should work on keeping it cleaner to show the ground beneath
It's been 84 years, but we're cooking again! For y'all who wanted to build rustic villages, here's a sneak peek of upcoming wooden walls 👀

Art consolidation part 2 - the stuff I actually never thought to dig up... 110 pictures taken
I'm collecting all my art together in one place to better sort out my portfolio and.... its so much work omfg It's so crazy how much work I was willing to just write off and never touch again! This is just what I have on the computer right now, I still gotta scan a ton of pen drawings.
When deciding on a career path, it's important to lay out your goals and a solid plan to achieve them.

" The purpose of a painter is simply to reproduce in other minds the impression which a scene has made upon him. A work of art does not appeal to the intellect. It does not appeal to the moral sense. Its aim is not to instruct, not to edit, but to awaken an emotion. " - George Inness
Rumbly is the tummy yet neglected, dejected from food yet perfected. Hark! Burrito awaits...
I'll also add to this, from my own perspective on time I (me, flawed present self) will make something, and if I "hate" it, it's because I (me, imagined ideal self) didn't make it, because that ideal self would do better on the flaws I see. But that's okay! I (me, future) loves my present art.
I have to add, I follow a wide variety of incredible artists. If I get super excited about your art and want to get art from you, it's because I love your art and style and would be honored to get one of my characters drawn up your way. If you're an artist who feels this way, please don't. :(
Showing off my process! A thread (1) I start with a collection of pictures that I like, (No AI), and leaning toward scenes from iconic animated films. 3 of these pictures came from Atlantis: The Lost Empire (2001) and Arcane (2021) What I'm looking for is a base composition to sketch my ideas over

Happy 4th of July! Here's an unrelated image!
The country is on fire for many reasons, and this July 4th doesn't feel very inspiring. I don't celebrate independence day as is though. Rather, celebrate it for what America could be, after the flames are doused, the ashes rebuilt, and the arsonists in holes. One day, we'll all be (truly) free
Suffering Loooove cell-shaded styles but I get so bored lining my sketches Impressionism is my comfort zone hhhhh
