Through what feels like the first arc in After War Gundam X. Quickly rising through the ranks as far as AUs are concerned. A very natural mix of Zeta, Turn A (which it predates!), and Mad Max, with just a sprinkling of Wing. I love failson Quattro Brightjeena and his feral murder daughter.

Reading John Stewart’s early GL appearances. Rly struck by this lil mini-arc for Hal. John gets the ring after Hal quits to be w/Carol. Then he kinda regrets quitting. Then the man who taught Hal how to pilot knocks him out to steal one last test flight, and dies. I.e. Hal needs to learn to let go.
