It's been said that the radical right in the US wants death squads and the radical left wants universal healthcare. But the "radical" left in America, including the DSA, are actually just... progressives. The *radical* left is anti-state, guys. Get some perspective.

The @nytimes hasn't written a single article asking if "voters will think Tom Tiffany is too radical" because he is an election-denying, pro-ICE, authoritarian extremist. Somehow, his position on the political spectrum has disappeared completely from the National and State Conversations™️

I am a girl. I like reptiles and horror movies and science fiction and comics and TTRPGs, and for my entire life, every time I have entered a space, I have had to prove that I didn't "steal" it from the person* it rightfully belonged to. (*Boy, then man.)

I shared this kickstarter yesterday, & shortly after pledged to get some of these truly adorable dice. Unforunately I've since noticed some red flags that genAI may have been used for writing the Campaign description. A friend then noticed there is not a single mention of any artists (1/5)

This dice Kickstarter has various cat breeds, including Maine Coons. And they used blue tabbies for their Maine Coon artwork. www.kickstarter.com/projects/bea...

My dude, we don't need to know your "heart and mind," we just have to look at your prior actions. You've already turned CBS News into a ham-handed partisan laughingstock in land speed-record time, so we have an excellent idea what you will do with CNN.

"Unfortunately, I can't give anyone a view into my heart and mind." Why? Are you unfamiliar with them? Ellison's whole "I'm not allowed to express my specific political opinions here, but trust me" approach is transparent nonsense. www.nytimes.com/2026/08/04/o...

Short stories can be amazing and life-transforming and for some writers (raises hand) it's easier to write an 80,000 word novel than an 8,000 word short story. With the novel you have so much more time and space and margin to get things right. With a short story you have to nail it all, fast.

I remember reading it in high school but had forgotten the title. It amazes me how powerful something so short can be

This is a cute picture of Thomas, but what I want you to look at is the orange comforter. See? It's very orange. We THINK it's from JCPenney's originally, but we don't know for sure. Most importantly, it's old and well-loved, and dying. I need to find a new one, same comforter, to replace. Help?

A freshly shaved blue tabby is curled into an orb, a copy of THROUGH GATES OF GARNET AND GOLD resting against him. But what I want you to look at is the orange bedspread. See? Ooooo, so orange.
