I only played this one years after release so maybe some of the issues at launch got fixed, but if you go in with an open mind this game is actually really fun. I didn't really mind this one being so different from the rest of the series.

*sigh* EVENTUALLY I'll have to look into actual good flac players. I want to get into actually owning music again more, and buying CDs and ripping them is ok and all, but I'd prefer a dedicated device that I can use my nice headphones with.
Played through the Eldin Ring dlc for the second time. Still really impressive. Smaller than I initially thought (still huge, but the density of content seems less than base game). Fantastic bosses - Bayle, Messner, Midra, Rellana. Radahn is not as bullshit as I thought, but still a lot.
What's more creepy: not hearing your god's voice anymore? Or hearing them scream, eternally?

Highly, HIGHLY recommend this game and the sequel. The original DS version is probably too expensive, and even though the Switch port changes the gameplay a bunch, it's still amazing. I do hope we eventually get a third one.
