RCPsych statement on Channel 4 ADHD documentary

President Professor Subodh Dave comments on a new documentary about ADHD.

At the risk of immodesty, it's interesting I've had zero media contacting me about 'The Great #ADHD Myth?' Usually, whenever any even slightly brain-related story hits, I inevitably get some mainstream platform asking me to explain it to their audience in accessible terms. This time... *crickets*

The ADHD channel 4 thing is as bad, if not worse, than you think. Within the first 10 minutes they have dangerously discredited ADHD painting it as something that can be resolved if you just change your behaviour. It’s puberty blockers all over again. Hideous.

One thing I have said before is that Linux on a computer designed for Windows is a superpower in terms of computing potential and smoothness. Here's why: manufacturers push for things like more RAM to meet Windows 11 requirements, avoid user complaints, and market the hardware as "AI capable".

Reform is corrupt. Tice is a tax dodging cheat. They want power to make money for themselves. The foreign bribes, the crypto donations, the bitcoin investments, Farage and Kwarteng’s cosy little deals… They’ll treat the UK and the NHS as their own fire sale. We must never give it to them.

The total tax Tice's companies are known to have avoided through onshore and offshore entities, or failed to pay, in relation to Quidnet now amounts to almost £800,000.
