If i'm using a microcontroller to animate (pwm) a few leds, an average current of ~1.0 mA isn't bad right? a pulse on/off gets about .80 mA to 1.4mA depending on off/on and in between. (context 'not bad' as in i think those are good low power numbers and it's hard to go lower)
