the simple fact is if your argument for your faction of the democratic party is "we know how to win," then there's no way george w bush spends a decade terrorizing us with iraq and recession. no way trump fucks up covid and is *sitting in the white house right now*. no. you dont know how to win.

Oh no, there’s a “Democrstic Tea Party” now, this is terrible, the most electorally successful political movement in modern history now has a version that wants to give everyone healthcare instead of killing every brown person in the world,, what a disaster

Q: To what extent are Americans' financial situations motivating you to make a deal with Iran? TRUMP: "Not even a little bit. The only thing that matters when I'm talking about Iran, they can't have a nuclear weapon. I don't think about Americans' financial situation. I don't think about anybody."

The biggest story in the world right now is that the president of the United States is a demented old man who takes pleasure in torturing and killing people and is committing crimes with impunity. And yet most legacy media outlets are too cowardly to tell it like it is.

White House: the witness’s allegations are “completely baseless” and “backed by zero credible evidence.” Fact: FBI found her credible enough to interview repeatedly, and she received a financial settlement from the Epstein estate.

The problem with this theory is that religion doesn't belong in politics, because it will invariably devolve into cultish, anti-liberal behavior Religion needs to stay in houses of worship where it belongs and politics needs to remain secular

The United States gave Netanyahu over $24 billion in taxpayer dollars to fund his horrific war in Gaza. That wasn't enough. Netanyahu wanted war with Iran. Trump gave him one. The American people — not Netanyahu’s right-wing government — should determine U.S. foreign policy.

When we talk about Baby Boomers not getting off the stage: In 1997, the US president was born in 1946. In 2007, the US president was born in 1946. In 2017, the US president was born in 1946. And next year in 2027? The US president will have been born in 1946.

I was just watching some of the Bill and Hillary deposition footage and its really striking/disturbing how much the Clintons clearly come off younger and in better shape than either of our two recent presidents.
