Technically taking a PTO day to spend some time with kiddo. Because summer camp and emotions got a little rough again this year. But also I have to do some work. But any time I stay home the likelihood the kiddo sleeps past 530 is high vs Saturday or Sunday. It’s strange.

Today is intern presentation and dinner day. With all interns of the group I work in. Not all in company. At least I slept better than yesterday. Probably still gonna get a coffee if I can get my ass in gear

In the mid-20th century, auto and oil interests bought up electric streetcar systems across the US and systematically replaced them with bus routes and paved roads, funneling commuters toward private cars.

Took the kid to see Brand New Day. And if you’re like us* then you’re 6-8 yo would be fine. I know a lot of people would have issues. Also kid didn’t run around and yell and made it a pretty enjoyable experience. So there haters.

Took a light nap on the couch earlier this afternoon with the Dood cuddle up in the crook of my arm. I of course can now not move my arm very well. I do not like not being able to give good cuddles without ending up in pain
