Hearing Shirley Walker’s score in the theater again was just what I needed today. She is truly missed 92/93 was peak Batman fever for me and I ate this movie up. Still do
I am not a Bourdain cultist and I don't have a lot of patience for macho-but-hurting-inside chef drama. But I just saw the movie Tony and thought it was very strong and well-made. I was esp. impressed by Dominic Sessa; his remarkable debut in The Holdovers was not a fluke. (Bonus: Ptown locations!)
Between this and The Furious (and hopefully Street Fighter) it’s been a great year for video game movies
