Given food insecurity's on the rise w/ SNAP cuts, some tips from a food bank volunteer: 1. Cash is more helpful 2. Check best by dates & write them on top w/a sharpee. 3. Make sure products are intact. Avoid easily-crushed items. 4. Popular: canned fruit, shelf-stable proteins, milk, baby food.
