I don't know if the AI economy will even last this long. But I'm thinking about the people who threw out their DVDs because they have streaming only to find out you don't own streaming media.
I'm too old to have experienced it but old enough to remember the shitshow of "No child left behind" and schools forcing teachers to teach only what would be on the govt standardized tests lest the school have funding pulled. You get efficiency, sure, but that isn't the point of education.
