I'm very sad to share that my advisor and colleague Jim Keener has passed away. Jim's impact on mathematical biology, through his writing and prolific mentorship, is hard to overstate. I'll write more personal reflections soon, but given his influence on so many, I wanted to share the news.

Thank you for joining us at the first day of the Machine Learning of Cytoskeletal Machines (Cell Migration and Mitosis) workshop! We can't wait to return tomorrow and continue our conversations. Remember to share your favorite moments of the day and tag NITMB!

I've moved! As of July, I'm now an Associate Professor (with tenure!) at the University of Utah. Bittersweet to leave the SoCal sun and amazing people at UCI, but excited for new beginnings in a familiar place.
