After @dingbat1477.bsky.social & @mjstedy.bsky.social crab chip convo, I share this great offense: PNW chipmaker Tim's Cascade launched these to get in on crab chip fun. But they tried to make them local by calling them "Dungeness" crab. But very few PNW folks cook Dungeness with seasoning!
Love this "Dead Band Yard Sale is a one-of-kind event that gives PNW bands who have broken up a chance to reconnect with fans and sell records, t-shirts and other merchandise one last time. The event is free to attend and it is free to be a “dead band” vendor.

Julie Goldberg@juliegoldberg.bsky.social · 3w agoI love the billionaires’ fear of death. They can’t bully it, threaten to ruin it, buy it in a hostile takeover, or purchase a government to outlaw it for them alone. Death is the only opponent they can’t outflank, and it gives them SUCH a big mad!

If I were a writer negotiating a contract now (as opposed to when I did that with MTV in 2000), I would press for the explicit right to republish on my own site anything I'd created for the outlet (which I did) — & save finals of every story so I could repub on my own
