Sing To God by Cardiacs is 30 years old today! More ideas in one song than most artists have on a whole album and this is a double. Some say it's the best albul ever made. If measured by genius it's certainly one of the heaviest hitters.

Today, the Assisted Dying Bill will fall. The actions of a small group of unelected peers on this Bill have been deplorable. It’s a stain on our democracy and a slap in the face to hundreds of terminally ill people and their families, who were given hope when MPs voted in favour last year.
