I was diagnosed after the lightbulb went off when my daughter was diagnosed. As an oldest daughter, I HAD to make elaborate systems to make life work, but I always wondered if I was dumb as hell since everything that’s so easy for others has always been so hard for me and just keeps getting harder

For decades, ADHD was viewed as a childhood condition that mostly affected boys. Researchers now know ADHD manifests differently in girls, but many still go undiagnosed until adulthood.

I was going to have an opinion about Emily Wilson's review but honestly it's not a terrible review and I like her. But also, I'm a fan of Joyce's Ulysses. I'm not a terrible snob but I can certainly be a minor one. I just don't express it bc everyone hates me when I do and I can be pretty mean.
