Yes, great conservative art is obviously possible. Hell, great fascist art is possible—Pound, yes, but also Griffith or Vikernes, both of whom are plainly good at art even as they make monstrous things. What’s impossible is great, or even good anti-intellectual art. Art must be interested in art.
