We’re back from our whirlwind trip to Williamsburg, DC, Philadelphia and everything in between. Kiddo starts school next week, and I’m finding it hard to settle back into the routine.
If you ever have the opportunity to go to Philadelphia, make sure to check out the Masonic Temple. It is absolutely STUNNING. The stained glass, the different themed lodge rooms, it’s just so gorgeous. They could offer a three or four hour tour and it wouldn’t be enough time to see all the details.

I forgot to update Midnight, the nerf dart destroyer champion, is 100% fine per his vet. However he has not learned his lesson, because I am still finding nerf darts despite spending Sunday night picking them up.
Our vet: Midnight is a healthy weight and is looking great. He doesn’t need to come back for a year. Midnight: *decides to screw that up by chewing up three nerf darts and somehow swallowing the heads only to puke them up at 2am and freak me out*
Because we suffer from the big dark from November to March, I try to enjoy summer while we have it. But after seeing how many fires we have across the state, and how badly Spokane is being hit in particular right now, I’ll be praying that the rain comes sooner rather than later this year 😞
