Making a campaign promise to do something then getting into office and saying “oops! Tuns out I don’t actually have the authority to do that thing, but the fact that I think you should makes me such a good leader!” is a hell of a bit.

Sometimes I forget how dominant Lori's 2019 win was. She won absolutely everywhere except for 1 precinct near downtown and a cluster of precincts in Hyde Park

If you want the honest answer, Raja has spent the last decade building a base of support in Chicago’s high education, high turnout, very blue suburbs. Stratton on the other hand has been basically anonymous since her run against Ken Dunkin in ‘16.
