Here in Essex we seem to have our fair share of grifters already, especially if the press and authorities fancy taking a closer look at the dodgy dealings at Essex County Council. So us voting out a major one helps us start to heal here in Clacton and the county as a whole.
Our useless, and rarely seen, Conservative MP was replaced by Jenny Riddell-Carpenter for Labour at the last election. She is often seen, holds surgeries regularly, and is proactive in local matters. I have great sympathy for Clacton residents, but Reform voters knew exactly what they were getting.
Dear Nigel, The ‘people of Clacton’ as you call us bitterly regret voting for you. You were only elected in a quirk of the FPTP voting system where a minor Labour surge and Tory toxicity sent you through the middle to win. You’ve been a useless MP. We’re not even convinced you know where we are.
Let’s hope Clacton have a bit more sense this time GET RID OF THIS NASTY PIECE OF WORK and vote in a decent MP that actually knows where Clacton is

This is one of many good reasons why Essex County Council needs breaking up. This scandalous waste of our taxpayers money by the Tory council is a perfect reason alone to never vote Conservative again.

Ignore the Tory bulls**t Essex is NOT being abolished. What a *ridiculous* lie. Our county has been there since the 6th century and is going nowhere All that is going is 'Essex County Council', and rightly so after their dreadful performance in recent years. Ignore the daft Conservative noise
The guy is an absolute scumbag but most of us here are more angry with the complete ignorant gammon who actually voted for him. Farage is the most useless MP we’ve ever had. He makes Giles Watling look godlike in comparison which speaks volumes. Shame on the locals who voted for Farage.
