Hearing about L1 psychological support at #UKSF24. Hearing lived experience - “good psychological support lifts me up a bit, helps me to thrive. Bad psychological support can knock me down miles.” Words have a profound impact +everyone should have L1 Psych Support Training.

#UKSF24 Prof Terry Quinn - excellent presentation challenging the stroke community to “zoom out”… rather than focussing in, specialising too far and working in silos. Priorities - recognising multimorbidity, frailty awareness, social determinants, rehab and life after stroke.
