I know some people just ask AI about what model laptop to buy etc, but sometimes I feel like asking bigger questions :D.

This EASILY could have been Tesla, but its part-time ketamine-addicted CEO was too busy fantasizing about blade runner and pickup-trucks to give a shit, so they just 'gave away' that entire market segment. Any Tesla shareholders still happy with the CEO must be taking as many drugs as he is.

Depressing that my country now has three, THREE! parties all fighting for the elusive 'nazi asshole' vote. None of them can seemingly look at polls or do maths. Its not a majority demographic!
I can’t believe we’re still having a debate about whether there’s a trade off between job creation and measures to green the economy. There isn’t. The evidence was clear years ago - a green economy creates far more jobs than the fossil fuel economy it replaces. Come on Labour, catch up …

No idea why this is happening for Ridiculous Space Battles. Nothing new suddenly happened. But hey, I'll take it. If you like space battles being ridiculous, I guess I have the game for you! store.steampowered.com/app/3607230/... #Ridiculous #Space #Battles
Sold ABB. Not anything wrong with the company, but was up 10%, had no cash, and I was over-committed to European Industrials with data center exposure. #stonks

I should probably do a Democracy 4 mod, which includes all of count binface's policies... but its tricky. Like...how much would Nationalizing Adele actually cost? and how long would it take to implement a policy like bringing back ceefax? The research would be problematic...
I'm not saying that its clickbait heaven for some political journalist to do an article where they play my political strategy game 'Democracy 4' using the policies of Count Binface... but I am totally saying that: store.steampowered.com/app/1410710/... #countbinface #bindependenceday #clacton

I've made some decent progress on the challenge editor for Ridiculous Space Battles today: Yes I know some things are not perfectly aligned or formatted yet... its a work in progress :D.

When I was 11, I found video games to be astonishing, and when they had color and sound, they seemed so realistic. It was amazing. And then the 3DFX video card enabled stuff like particle effects, and it was so lifelike. And now in 2026: www.youtube.com/watch?v=bkyE...

I'm not sure folks have realized just how crazy the second half of 2026 and 2027 will be for global temperatures – on the back of a record-smashing El Niño event. Here is my latest estimate of where both years will end up compared to global temperatures since 1850.
A 3 bedroom detached very-old house with no cavity wall insulation, running electric induction hobs, a heat pump, powering TWO electric cars, in SW UK, with 10 3 year-old solar panels on a ground mount with partial shading. Solar power is the most obvious home upgrade imaginable, even in the UK.

We need more progressive corporate taxes. We have this crazy cliff-edge VAT registration threshold, and just 2 bands: 19% up to £50k profit, then 25% at £250k, tapering at a marginal rate of 26.5% (oh the stupidity). But what we need is a rate for over £10m and £100m. I pay the same rate as Google.
Its not earth shattering, but here is some progress on the user-submitted 'challenge' portion of Ridiculous Space Battles. You can wish-list the game if you are so inclined...here: store.steampowered.com/app/3607230/...
Best EVER month for my solar farm. Which is a surprise, as everything should degrade very slightly each year. But I'm not complaining. It is in the middle of a catastrophic drought though... #ClimateEmergency #RenewableEnergy #SolarPower

I'm not in the list of people calling for it, but I think a 1% wealth tax on assets over £1m would be no bad thing. Sure, people would find ways to evade it, but if your combined bank balances and stock portfolio and property portfolio was over £1m, it would be hard to deny. That would be £10k/year.
During July, on average, my solar farm has generated enough power to charge about 100 EVs from empty to full per day. Thats pretty cool :D.

JUST IN: The 30-year US Treasury yield just surged to 5.18%, its highest level in 19 years. The last time it was this high was 2007, right before the financial crisis. Back then, the national debt was $8.4 trillion. Today it’s $39.4 trillion. Same interest rate. Almost 5 times the debt.
Some 'youtubers' or other 'influencers' have voices that make them unbearable to me. I have to actually leave the room. I think part of it is this 'never pausing, even for a second' thing that they do. I do *not* have ADHD, fortunately. I can cope if someone pauses slightly. Like between sentences.

Saw the odyssey. I didn't enjoy it, but you might. Too violent, and too long, and way too many macho men grunting at each other between sword fights for me. I really liked the hot dog I ate at the start though.
A bit depressed about the state of gaming and AI. I am making a solo-dev retirement game. I do not want to hire an artist, or anybody. I like to work alone. Yet apparently I will get nothing but abuse if I use AI art. (AI code is fine, for no reason that makes sense). Considering not releasing it.
