Without using variables (grr free plan restrictions), the Figma prototype of [StF] has 108 endings. With variables (hooray Godot and Dialogic), it's basically got 18 main endings, with a handful of little details that get mentioned in the final moments.

Something nobody tells you about not attending GDC for more than a couple years is the fact that you start to run out of free swag notebooks. Stock up while you can, kids. Don't end up in my situation.

Tip for level designers: Get one of these, go to a cafe, and relax. Many of my best level design ideas existed on paper first. Tip for notepad manufacturers: Many level designers would be excited about hexagon patterns instead of square grids.

Just arrived in Kutaisi, and it's a beautiful, slower-paced town that could be a perfect place to spend the next couple years, aside from the humidity, which makes me want to remove my own skin in the most violent fashion.

Just wrote the description for my upcoming yo-yo's store page. So happy this is happening. I've been loving the prototype every day since June 2. And yes, I put that in my calendar, because it was a Very Good Day.

My laptop won't sync to my time zone for some reason, which isn't terrible, but if I want to use Affinity Studio, I have to let it pretend I'm still in the US because Canva's servers get really weird about mismatched clock settings. It isn't like I'm cheating at Pokemon by changing my console time.

Big Walk comes out TOMORROW, August 4. "But what time??" we hear you ask. Well! Let us tell you: • on Switch 2 and PS5: late morning-ish for your console region* • on PC and Mac: 6am PDT exactly (11pm AEST)

I have now seen, in two different shopping malls, a dedicated Fujifilm booth that also happens to sell a whole mess of SmallRig products. It's like this country sensed I was coming and knew exactly how to make me feel at home.

According to Wikipedia, there are squirrels in Georgia, but I haven't found a single one yet, and that upsets me because they're the reason I carry this little jar of peanuts everywhere I go.

I'm so tired of toggle interface components. I want dedicated Play and Pause. I want Yes and No, not a checkbox masquerading as a switch for some reason. I want to know the result of my action before I take it, and not worry that accidentally doing the same thing twice will have the opposite effect.

"I just use it for research" like it's neutral, like nothing built by big tech ever had bias baked in? "It helps me find papers." Okay, but do you think there might also be a chance the plausibility generators surface papers by men more often than women, for instance?
