Walked into the hotel gym this morning, older dude putzing around on the machines (alpha complex vibes). Fox news was on the TV. I saw that, said 'fuck this shit' and turned it off. He promptly left. I feel good about that decision.

I remember as a kid, the go to response for tragedy was I'll keep you in my prayers. Very seldom were there offers of help or intentional proactive action. It's always been a cop-out. Religion enables self-righteousness, ignorance and historically a lot of violence.
