apparently NaNoWriMo (National Novel Writing Month, an organization which encouraged ppl to write 50k word novellas in a single month) ran for over 25 years, but collapsed partially due to an AI scandal. The org said they wouldn't take a stance against AI bc it would be "classist and ableist" lol

I’m glad I don’t have access to a tattoo machine; I would be fucking my shit up severely
it’s a fun and good sci-fi/action movie, but ALIEN is a goated, beautiful, influential cross-genre film in so many ways that its sequels could never be
