One of the key issues is that asymptomatic is being equated as mild but you can still get long covid & blood clots from asymptomatic infections and risk is still adding up!

I see so many posts with folks saying they don’t get COVID. Sadly the risks of asymptomatic infections have been forgotten. This is why we had testing. Please read about asymptomatic COVID. Infections still carry post infection risks and can infect others. ada.com/covid/asympt...

Patients with long COVID and ME/CFS had lower V02max (B; p<0.001, n=23 LC, p<0.001, n= 26 ME/CFS; n= 30 CON) and GET (C; p<0.001; n=23 LC ; p<0.001, n= 22 ME/CFS; n= 30 CON) compared to controls and VE tended to be lower (D; ANOVA: p=0.062; n=23 LC, n=25 ME/CFS, n=30 CON), however V Emax/VCOzmax was not significantly different than controls (E: ANOVA: p=0.246, n=22 LC, n=25 ME, n=30 CON). VOzmax and GET were non-normally distributed following Box-Cox transformations. Comparisons between pre- and post- bed rest were assessed using two-sided paired t-tests for parametric data and two-sided Mann-Whitney U test for non-parametric data. Comparisons between patients with long COVID and patients with ME/CFS and healthy controls were assessed using analysis of variance, with Tukey HSD post-hoc testing for parametric data or Kruskal-Wallis H test, with pairwise Wilcoxon tests with Benjamini-Hochberg correction post-hoc for non-parametric data.
