Tangentially, this is why I think AI search summaries have an asymptotic quality cap or worse. AI summary isn’t a technology problem. It’s an access problem, both what it can get to and what it can keep out.

Even the most repressive states are careful to maintain the pretense of legitimacy. If you get censored it's because you're a foreign agent or a criminal or a sexual deviant who's menacing society. Not because you hurt the Leader's feelings. That looks weak.
Great thread on the case for Trump’s weakness. I think Trump is rapidly consolidating power because his team has a plan and is willing to act like Trump, as if they will always outlive the consequences. But: 1. He’s much better at getting out of trouble than his people are. 2. He’s really old.
