Respectfully, I think if you're collecting the emails of every applicant it's not an unrealistic ask to send a cut and paste email to everyone who didn't make it with a standard rejection notice. It doesn't need to be anything special, and it's kind to send *anything* back in this job market

Today in tech news: Microsoft’s GitHub was compromised when a Microsoft developer (working on Microsoft GitHub internals) using Microsoft VSCode installed malware via Microsoft’s VSCode extension library, which is moderated and hosted by Microsoft.
github has been unusable this year. one day its fine another day it takes 15 minutes to load one page
right now the astronauts are calling houston because the computer on the spaceship is running two instances of microsoft outlook and they can't figure out why. nasa is about to remote into the computer
