To be clear, the Senate version of KOSA passed today is completely different than the House version that passed earlier this year, making it very unlikely to become law. The Senate knows this yet they are committing to the farce of acting on kids safety.

It is expected to provide the first account of what the commission has found about Zorro Ranch, why the allegations connected to it were never prosecuted, and whether state or federal officials failed to act.

24 U.S. states plus Washington, D.C. have legalized marijuana. It is time for the federal government to do so as well along with taxing it like alcohol.
The only reason why marijuana is still illegal in certain parts of the country is power over those that can divide into 'Us and Them.' It's nothing more than a convenient cudgel to punish anyone considered "other." Stop the fear mongering. It's time.
