As a former professional football player, I can confidently say that this essay is incorrect from every conceivable angle, and contributes heavily to the culture of toxic masculinity that still infests high schools and colleges across the country.

People need to start learning that in a liberal democracy you have every right, and indeed you have an obligation, to be heavy-handed and authoritarian towards fascist cunts

fun part if you ask me: higher ed institutions in secular democracies are the closest approximation of a 'marketplace of ideas' as you are likely to find this side of a global revolution and a lot of people who claim to like that idea do not seem to love its results

Most of these "moderate" outlets alternative between "Sister Soulja moment" stories about the radicals who Democrats need to distance themselves from and glowing portraits of white nationalists who are trying to go mainstream by softening their rhetoric slightly.
