Happened to hear the Lord Mayor of Dublin talking about e-scooters on Radio 1. He said that people in social housing should be banned from using one! WTF? He wasn't put off when told that this was discrimination. He just doubled down muttering about anti social behaviour! #Ireland #SpéirGhorm

got a text today from an unknown number asking me if I'd seen Christopher Nolan's Odyssey and if I had any thoughts on it ... it turned out to be from a friend's new number, but for a while I really thought it was a devious new scam targeted at heterosexual men

People who want you to speak kindly about dead abusers wouldn’t have wanted you to say it when he was alive either. Hearing about abuse is uncomfortable, they don’t know how to feel or respond and so they prefer the culture of silence that allows abusers to operate.

Oh no. Exactly what everyone who knows literally *anything* about it said would happen did in fact happen. Wow. So now all the other know nothings in other governments around the world who are planning on giving away everyone's privacy will stop and think for a single second, right? Right??

Just started this. I love Colin Farrell, and I love gumshoe detective stories. But it’s beautifully shot too. Also his character is a green flag: He treats animals with love, talks to everyone with decency. He even refuses a woman’s advances - after getting her home safely - because she’s drunk.
