Expect more of this from the Florida “Grand Conspiracy” probe, which is basically an effort to turn a decade of Sean Hannity monologues into criminal cases.
Regardless of the strength of the cases, the indictments give the right-wing echo chamber fuel for their claims that covid escaped a lab, Charlottesville was a hoax, and leftist rhetoric is too violent.
Like the weak SPLC and Comey cases, the best way to think about this is an attempt to sync up law enforcement with the right-wing media narrative machine.

I’m fascinated by how obsessed Trump is with his ballroom but still unsure why he wants it so bad. There is definitely an untold story there that goes beyond him just wanting a larger event space.

DOJ demanded voter files from all 50 states. DOJ sued 31 states for refusing their demand. My law firm intervened to protect voters in those cases. DOJ is now 0-5. My firm is 5-0. Lesson: When we fight we win.

He is correct. It is right-wing news saying one outlandish thing after another to get stoopid people to agree and educated to debate. Causing debate and division. "Left wing news" spends its time countering with overly polite reporting, not to offend right wingers.
Something like this will have to happen in this country once Trumpism is defeated. In the absence of accountability, the world will rightly assume that it will happen again.

Wild that Trump has sent his son in law who has billions in business deals in the Middle East to negotiate with Iran and that isn’t a scandal that will end his presidency or even really mentioned by the networks

Constitutional lawyer here. I don't think it would violate the Constitution for the VP/Cabinet to invoke the 25th Amendment, but the intended constitutional remedy for this behavior is impeachment & removal. The fact that that remedy is politically impossible is a scandal and a crisis.
