Finished cleaning up and tracing Jefferies' blueprints for the "Klingon Space Cruiser", AKA the D7. These would have been handed over to AMT to build the master that would then be scaled down for the model kit. 1/

The Star Trek: The Original Series episode “The Empath” was in front of the cameras 58 years ago today. Here is a photo of a slate from that episode (left) and a screenshot (right). Note that they flopped the shot in the episode because they broke the 180-degree rule of filmmaking.

It's interesting that even Vulcans have fashion trends, but we are left to wonder if Spock was leading the movement towards more moderate eyebrows or following what the kids were doing back on his home planet.

Spock in Where No Man Has Gone before, with dramatically arched eyebrows that climb quite far up his forehead.   In this shot from Operation -- Annihilate! the Spock brows are slimmer and not nearly as arched.

SPOCK in "The Immunity Syndrome": It is not a galactic nebula such as the Coalsack. CHEKOV in "Let That Be Your Last Battlefield": Four oh three mark seven. Straight for the Coalsack if there is no letup.

If I'm counting correctly, we are 60 days away from September 8 2026, the 60th anniversary of the premiere of Star Trek! So, we're going to do another 60 day celebration of Star Trek's 60th anniversary. What will it be? Yes, you're right, it's 60 days of Star Trek coloring books!
