But they seemed like such nice, patriotic, community-minded chaps. (Except the ones currently facing murder, child abuse & assault charges, obviously.)
Leaders of flag-raising group Raise the Colours Oxfordshire placed trackers on highway workers’ cars to find out their home addresses, the High Court has heard. RTC then attempted to intimidate the highway staff into no longer removing flags by repeating their addresses to them.
‘Right now, the trans and nonbinary community is fighting many of the same tabloid lies and legal obstacles thrown at lesbians, gay men and bisexuals since for ever. We are unnatural, we are a danger to children, we spy on you in toilets.‘ On solidarity, Pride and visibility.
I wrote about Berlin and Pride and solidarity, especially within our community. I hope it helps. observer.co.uk/news/opinion...
Just had a lovely woman in our shop in Donegal, searching for her lost twin sister. Appreciate it if my Irish followers would retweet this. Thank you.

I started covering women's football out of my own pocket more than 15 years ago, and you know who wasn't there? All of these loudmouths who now pretend to be all about "protecting women's sports". 🙄 In fact, a lot of them ridiculed both the women and the very idea of covering them. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Megan Rapinoe is a legend.
Today, in manufactured social outrage; Muslims are apparently hanging Islamic prayer mats to dry on the railings of the Church of the Assumption, Tullamore, in a deliberate and provocative attempt to antagonise locals. The story has been viewed by millions and has no basis in reality
"More than 120 millionaires.. have signed an open letter urging PM Andy Burnham to tax their wealth. The campaign, called 'Proud to Pay' says a 2% tax on wealth over £10m could raise £24 billion a year" #GMB
Shareholder capitalism is at the root of most of our problems. No amount, no profit, no number is ever enough for shareholders or the markets which always and incessantly demand more and more - which is of course an impossible ask and must eventually lead to ruin. There's no other possible outcome

I see Ann Widdecombe has died. When she was Home Secretary I showed her round Drake Hall womens’s prison. There was a pregnant woman on a bed in the early stages of Labour and she asked the prison officers why she wasn’t handcuffed to the bed. That’s the kind of woman she was.

look, I'm not a "reputable economic commentator", but I am 100% sure they have arrived at this figure by counting all the gambling revenue generated from hare coursing events, as if that is a meaningful contribution to the Irish economy and not a wealth transfer from addicts to global corporations
The Irish Coursing Club has refused to provide evidence for its claim, repeated by the junior minister for agriculture, that hare coursing contributes €70m to the Irish economy annually. It comes ahead of a Dáil vote to ban the blood sport tomorrow night. jrnl.ie/7094305t
