This is set up for laughs, but it’s actually one of the best demonstrations I’ve seen of how being capable of producing convincing sounding language and understanding meaning are two completely different things. A chatbot does not understand you, it just has automated responses based on your words.

By my read the Meta settlement essentially REQUIRES Meta to continue and expand its corporate surveillance and data harvesting. It requires meta to "invest" more in its "behavioral" age assurance system, ie monitoring everything you do on the platform and trying to figure out if you might be a teen

The Ambassador says that Cofnas will be able to complete his one year appointment to March 2027.
