I posted about the monstrosity, but the weirdness is also notable. Acton's birth mother who hasn't seen her in 48 years, is spectacularly unqualified to render a verdict, because she abandoned her child, choosing the rapist instead. Ramaswamy decided to platform her. Desperate. Ugly. Twisted. Weird.

Two thoughts: This false, despicable ad is proof that Vivek Ramaswamy knows he is about to lose to Amy Acton. No mother who loves her daughter would do this. Her complicity reveals her.

Remembering the 116 Children and 28 Adults who tragically perished in the Aberfan Disaster 60yrs ago today. 109 children and 5 teachers died at the local school when it took the brunt of one of the 7 ‘spoil tips’ collapsing & burying all in its path.

Stephen Miller claims Somali-Americans in Minnesota are "buying Mercedes, buying BMWs, they buy a nice house, all their kids fly first class all over the world" (This is a lie!)

What is so important to the ultra-rich that they must seize and destroy the world's resources, hold down wages and crush organised labour, capture politics to reduce the tax they pay, fund the far right to stifle democracy? Here's an answer. A Hermes Birkin 35 Diamond Bag. On sale for £449,555.68

There’s something deeply repellent about Reform’s vengeful and racist obsession to take money from the most vulnerable when they’re under multiple investigations for breaking rules, dodging tax and gorging on £millions for themselves. EU'would retaliate on welfare plan'
By Arj Singh
The EU could launch a trade war against the UK and would probably strip British expats of benefits in retaliation to Reform's plan to ban foreign nationals from nearly all welfare payments.
Nigel Farage was warned that Brussels was likely to react with fury to his party's plan to bar foreign nationals, including EU citizens with settled status, from claiming most benefits in Britain.
Under the terms of Brexit, the EU could also launch economic retaliation, for exampleby suspending parts of the trade deal between the two sides including putting up tariffs that would hit the economy. Anand Menon, the director of the think-tank UK in a Changing Europe told The i Paper: "The proposals would breach the terms of the withdrawal agreement and the EU will doubtless retaliate, whether that be by making life harder for Britons in the EU or by triggering retaliatory trade measures.
"Either way, it will impact severely on UK-EU relations."
Reform's Treasury spokesman, Robert Jenrick, insisted that the ban was necessary because
"forcing British workers to pay for the benefits of foreigners is not just economically illiterate but plain immoral".
