A new example of Meta shithousery. This is a post of mine on Instagram (left). Click the dots top right and this advisory note appears (right). I never use ai, never will. Why would they do this? Who benefits? Are they just trying to make viewers think everything is genAI so they just accept it?

It has been criminally underreported but Kelsey Pfendler has just rowed solo across the Pacific Ocean from the US coast to Hawaii in record time. A 2,400-mile unsupported journey in 43 days, 17 hours, and 55 minutes. Notably beating the Men’s record by 9 whole days.

Starless Update! I just now finished Chapter 41!!!! (Falling to my knees crying with joy). I know that's still 2 chapters away from a current read but I am fleshing out the ending and goddamn, it is amazing. I can't wait to share it with you all.

Was cleaning out my apartment and was picking out some of my old computer games to sell until I saw the announcement that studios are now doing away with physical games. I decided to rescue more games instead. I now have the original floppy disks for X-Wing and 3 different copies of Dark Forces.

A nightmare scenario I didn't quite expect: I get clients that say they already have the "art" ready (AI generated), they just want it re-done by a human. So they want to essentially "wash" the AI generated trash so they don't get any flack for it.
