I'm really hoping the Aeneid gets a good adaptation sometime. It's not Homer but the fact that it's within spitting distance of Homer qualitywise (hell, some parts liek the Fall of Troy and the whole Dido episode are Homer level imo) proves Virgil was one of the greatest to ever do it
Just throwing this out there: The Aeneid is the world's oldest and best Fanfiction.
